Lines of research

Our line of research is focused on the rational design and study of new nanomaterials and polymeric microstructures applied to the capture, transport, and release of compounds of interest (targets) in agroindustry and medicine. In particular, methodologies and/or computational chemistry and bioinformatics tools are used, developed and integrated to study the intermolecular properties that characterize the material-target interaction at the multiscale level (nano, micro, meso).

The FONDECYT Postdoctoral Project No. 3170909, entitled: "Diseño racional, síntesis y evaluación de nuevas formulaciones basadas en polímeros para liberación controlada de feromona sexual de Lobesia botrana a través de una estrategia híbrida insilico/experimental” is currently being executed.
