Lines of research

Our line of research is mainly related to the design and synthesis of new nanomaterials with application in electrochemical, energetic and biomedicine systems. For this, we use molecular modeling, mainly quantum chemistry, and molecular dynamics, to predict and understand phenomena at the atomic scale.

Currently we are developing the FONDECYT project No. 1180023, entitled: “Higher performance burn rate catalysts for composite solid propellants based on nanocomposites of ferrocene modified dendrimers, metal nanoparticles and reduced graphene oxide”.
